Junior Analyst

Merchant Forecast LLC is a highly regarded independent research and channel checking firm with a 20 year track record of excellence.

Individual must be highly self-motivated and confidant working with spreadsheets and numbers. You'll work serving some of the world’s biggest institutional investors by providing on the ground assessments of the latest fashion trends and aggregating survey data into actionable insights.

Includes healthcare and matching 401K plan. Offices in Manhattan Greenwich Village area weekly travel to stores and occasional domestic three-day business trips.

• Compiling weekly numerical analysis of survey work
• Managing a national field team including hiring, training, and developing
• Weekly store visits mall visits and store specific write ups
• Weekly editing of research write-ups
• Building and developing surveys to garner trend and performance data
• Working with top financial institutions on survey development
• Preparing proposals and projects (including tables)
• Creating and updating spreadsheets
• Internet research
• Data entry/aggregation
• Invoice entry and tracking
• Office management and administrative functions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
