Ice Cream Scooper / Team Member

Perfect Scoop Ice Cream is ready to open a new location in the SLO Public Market. This retail location is inside the ready to open SLO Public Market. We will be offering ice cream from cow milk and water buffalo. Offerings also include shakes and floats. A team member must have has passion for food and the ability to share that passion with guests.

• Scoops ice cream and completes other food preparation in a timely manner
• Ensures counter and display refrigerators and freezers are kept clean and signage accurately reflects current menu, and promptly informs management when food quantities or supplies are low
• Merchandizes displays attractively and rotates products per quality and First In First Out (FIFO) standards
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Reliability is a must
• Knowledge of cheese are given preference
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Requirements

• Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
• Ability to use commercial equipment including scales, packaging machinery and a cash register

Pay is 16.50 per hour plus tips. We anticipate that tips can be close to 7 to 8 dollars per hour.
