What you will do
The Logistics Coordinator is a key role reporting to the Head of Logistics of the Middle East region. You will be based in the Abu Dhabi office to manage international & local shipments, customs clearance activities in the Middle East region, and will be a part of an emergent team that is focused on expanding our footprint and customer base to achieve our strong growth objectives, and
  • Drive critical change management for the successful implementation of fulfillment networks, strategies, and conduct an ongoing revaluation of suppliers, Logistics & Distribution structure
  • Work in a high-volume order fulfillment network, coordination with warehousing teams, regional and international transportation to ensure timely secured order fulfillment and delivery of products to our customers
  • Provide logistics process improvement recommendations related to shipments, revaluation of suppliers, operations, and efficient ways to manage high volume to the MEA Logistic Leader to achieve the high quality of services, optimizing costs, resources, productivity, and performance
How you will do it
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be concentrated on ensuring timely shipment of equipment to fulfill the company’s contractual obligations, optimizing costs & resources with respect to freight, and
  • Interface with vendors, suppliers, sub-contractors, shipping companies, freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery of equipment and/or services
  • Provide clear and precise information to Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams regarding delivery schedules, documentation requirements, negotiation status, and related updates
  • Organize import, export, and customs clearance arrangements with the customs brokers and forwarders abroad
  • Manage intercontinental freight operations management, including 3PL management, cost control, and analytic, supplier performance management, and monthly reviews, and drive continuous improvement and strategic projects for the logistics Team
  • Manage daily operational data entry, following up shipments and customs in order to make sure delivery is complete aligned with the deadline on the contract for customer satisfaction

Qualifications
What we look for
Required
  • BA/BS in Supply Chain/Logistics/Business or other related fields
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Shipping/Logistics & Distributions
  • Detail-oriented approach and excellent interpersonal skills - must be able to adapt to the working style of internal-external stakeholders
  • Experience at an international company
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Demonstrated ability to meet demanding deadlines
  • Strategic ability in striking excellent coordination with all involved divisions within the organization including planning, logistics, and procurement
  • Proficiency in supervising & streamlining the logistics processes & providing valuable suggestions for efficiency enhancement
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
